Single-cultivar Correggiolo extra virgin olive oil, made exclusively from centenarian olive trees protected by the Slow Food Presidium CHARACTERISTICS: Notes of artichoke and cardoon, pleasant grassy aromas. Starts with a spicy kick, nicely balanced with a long, lingering bitter finish. THE STORY: "Il Centenario" extra virgin olive oil is part of the Slow Food "Centenarian Olive Trees" Presidium project and is made exclusively with Correggiolo olives harvested from our 400 centuries-old trees, grown using natural methods.
